I am totally new to the Nightwish scene (about 2 weeks). Saw footage of the Wacken 2013 gig and was blown away by the whole band, but especially Ms. Jansen. So I purchased the live blu ray/cd album (Showtime, Storytime) and every other Nightwish album, except for their debut. I've also been following the bickering among the fanboys and girls and the vitriol thrown back and forth about who is better, Tarja or Floor. Everyone has their opinion so you morons need to mellow out with the smack talk. Leave it at "I like ..... better because their voice is more appealing to me" instead of pretending you are the best talent judge on the planet. My opinion is that Floor is the best singer they have ever had due to her versatility. That is my opinion and I can handle it if others don't agree. She can sing with softness as well as belt out the headbanging jams with the best of them. There is power and beauty in her voice. There is power and beauty in Tarja's voice as well but she hasn't the versatility to sing the entire repertoire. Floor and her dynamic voice and presence is what drew me to this band and I am now a fan. That is all that needs to be said from my standpoint.
