I never cared much about this song on Tarja's voice, even less on Anette's. But Floor has actually transformed every NW song I never liked into a song I do like. Why? The emotion, the interpretation....but above all the fact that she TRULY UNDERSTANDS this is symphonic rock, not opera or pop or alternative rock or whatever genre. Sorry, but I have never liked full operatic voices in rock, it feels too exaggerated, too "cramped", too loud. This is the reason so many NW-kind-of-bands have never been as popular as the Evanescences of the industry, for example....complex music needs complex, yet more ear-friendly and versatile voices. We get tired of high pitched voices the whole time, especially when their interpretation is not 100% right. Floor in this case, is the epitome of what a symphonic rock singer should be in my opinion. She can both belt (hit notes with contemporary voice) and sing with lyrical (operatic) technique. So she can harness the full power of NW and even growl aggressively (it's fucking rock after all, not a Maria Callas aria) but she can also be an etheral dark faery, a sublime maiden floating on air (it's also called "symphonic", after all, it's not fucking Panthera or Megadeath).As for the people still crying over Tarja...you sound like such losers. I'm spending my precious time posting this long shit about a singer I love. But you will never see me bitching on Tarja solo career videos. Not one line, not one book. I have a busy life. So get a life yourselves or get a sexual toy with Tarja's face on it.... and just enjoy, man, enjoy. At least make it worth "a symphonic orgasm". LOL.
