This song isn't the same without the operatic voice. This is pretty weak compared to Tarja's version. And what's with the final chorus? That's just screaming. Terrible.

After Forever actually did a cover of this song years ago with the original key and Floor did the operatic vocals /watch?v=lqO8GKW47io She also did the melody vocals in the end of the song when the keys shifts. Tarja sings the backing vocals instead in live concerts, probably because it's too high.

I'm liking her more and more. Sure Tarja has a much higher range and after all, the song was structured around her. But Holy crap I'm blown back just by the sheer power of her voice, It's no holds barred and the stamina of it is absolutely astronomical. Floor and the rest of the band made it their own, and you can tell every one of them is absolutely going nuts up there and having fun from start to finish. Guys, Tarja's gone. She's not coming back, and if you're going to sit there and be so critical of the fact that she doesn't sound like "Tarja" on a song that wasn't even written for her and then she absolutely rocked it on stage better than I've ever seen Tarja do it just from emotion then you're delusional and you need to move on.

I am new to the music of Nightwish and I think it's great! What I don't like is their fans. Constantly arguing over which lead singer is the best. It's really fucking annoying and also disrespectful to the band.
