I was blown away the first time I heard this. I used to listen to Nightwish back in '01 and '02, when I was in high school. I had since lost track... until now. Tarja's voice brought a grandiose ambiance and fantastical property to the music. But whereas Tarja's operatic voice also happens to be suited for metal, Floor's voice is unrepentantly metal. I can honestly say I've never before heard female vocalist exude so much metal; she can belt like Bruce Dickinson, ascend the octaves like King Diamond, shriek higher than Manowar's Eric Adams ever could, and can pull off a Puccini Aria in her spare time. Oh, and she is much sexier than any of those dudes. The bottom line is this: Nightwish is metal band, and Floor is a metal singer. Holy crap, it just feels right.

I really like how she sings this now; I think before (when she covered this with After Forever) she was using too much vibrato and she just sounded like she was trying to sing like Tarja. Now she sounds like the goddess she is! :D Thank you Emppu89 for uploading this!

Why Floor would be a great permanent singer, is that she does not strain and push her voice for Tarja era songs. And she does Anette era songs excellent as well.
