Thank you Lagbaja. Your video is one of the inspirations that led to the first museum of Gele, Aso-oke, Buba, Dashiki, and Agbada in Nigeria. The museums should not be restricted to Yoruba land alone. They should be nation-wide. Would it bring money from the fashionable tourists to the country? Time would tell. Lagbaja and gbedumaster are two afrobeats musicians whose ensemble are close to the master himself fela anikulapo kuti apart from seun anikulapo kuti. I always enjoy lagbaja whenever I dey nigeria his motheland gigs(niteclub) on opebi in ikeja lively and a place to visit if you happen to be around ikeja on Friday nights,looking foward to when bisi ologunde aka (omo lagbaja, omobabamukomuko)will do north american tour.

My first daughter was 9 months old and was standing with support when I got this video. She grabbed the table and danced away to Lagbaja even tho she'd never heard a Yoruba music before. It's in the blood I guess. Lagbaja is by far the most talented Generation X musician from Nigeria. Very original.
