This is the first version of We're All Alone that I'd ever heard and I did not know it was a cover. Went back to listen to the original and just couldn't do it.. for me Newton's version being the first I'd heard would always be the original and only. I do like the song actually. But I just did some research on Newton after realizing he'd disappeared, and discovered he's a specialist in covers. Just about everything he did was a cover. Disappointing.
