Try a 0.59 for the 6th. I'm using a full set of 0.14's and the strings never sound loose, even with the 6th string down to a G :P

here we just call the gauges, eg .013 - .056, by their thinnest size, like "thirteens". anyway haha, thanks. i use .011 - .052's, so even tuning down to C gets really light

well - i say not loose at all, it's nowhere near as taught as usual. But it's not inconviniently loose

I was talking about the 6th string (what would be low E on standard) - for which I use 0.56" The high string (1st) isn't loose at all on my guitar which is currently tuned to this. My high string is 0.13"

As complicated as it looks, this is actually remarkably quick to learn. the tuning is the same as "pulling teeth" if you are wondering: A# D# A# D# G# A# With luck I might do a tutorial of this soon
