This was originally recorded under the band name A-440 which is what is was called while I was in it. I was actually the drummer that recorded on this EP (pre the guy in the video and New Empire name). It was a hell of a fun time and ended all to early unfortunately. Bert was a blast to hang out with, we recorded this after their St. Louis Ozzfest performance. The drummer is now the guitarist in a band called Glass Cloud. No one else is pursuing anything musically.

Paperwork and listed his band New Empire, that was only himself. He apparently had no members but due to filing HIS New Empire name before they did, he forced them to change names or face suit... Versus trying to bounce back under a new name, they thew in the towel...

They are no longer together... Casey Watson, the lead singer, has strong ties to many musicans but is no longer in any bands or pursing anything musically as far as New Empire or any other bands. He does some work with Sumerian Records and has strong ties to a new rising band out of St. Louis, Tear out the Heart. The bands demise is actually a sad story... They were poised for stardom when some lil 17 year old kid with business sense and probably a daddy in the know filed all the proper

did this band ever make it? is it going by a new name or any of the members doing other projects? and yes it was very hard to find cuz of other band with same name. i read once that bert mccracken apparently had a soft spot for this band because he lent his vocals for the song. and yes that really is him, so its very likily they are still connected to the business some how. any info would be appreciated, thx!
