Some of us never appreciate what we have when we have it. I believe that I lost a soul mate for that very reason. When two people go their separate ways, one person may hope maybe, someday, their paths will come together again… but from the other persons point of view, you just keep getting smaller and smaller until you’re a dim memory. Then, one day, suddenly, you realize that it really is over and, hopefully, you accept it and move on. But it doesn't matter how much or how hard you try, you will never bethe same. You can never go back to those days with that person. This is why this song makes me feel so sad... even though it's kind of a love song.
