You should listen to Nat Cole playing this tune solo without singing, it's a small masterpiece. Very restrained.That OP didn't hold back, well here he was a young guy with giants on the stage. He needed to assert himself. Did well I think.

As much as I love Oscar Peterson, his piano is too busy here, as far as backing Nat.  It's more appropriate for a solo performance.
