Most of the songs on the soundtrack are in the movie. You just have to listen very carefully. All of the major fights are on this album, unless you have no fucking clue what you are listening to. Johhny Cage vs Scorpion, Liu Lang vs Reptile, Goro's ass beating scene before Johnny fights him, the scores involved other fighting scenes in between major fights, etc are all on the soundtrack, the original Film Score, and More Mortal Kombat albums, which is mostly written by George S. Clinton (not George Clinton from Parliament/Funkadelic) for the film. Whoever brought in Fear Factory in '95 was a brilliant fucking genius to producing this movie soundtrack :)

what i don't understand about this album is that virtually none of the songs appear in the film. only Orbital, KMFDM and the main theme seem familiar
