As singer once put it, he uses his voice as a substitution of musical instrument. You can't generate "screams" with guitars or drums, so he uses his throat instead. So in reality, Napalm Death is an instrumental band: guitar+bass+drums+throat. Also they don't pretend to be understandable when it comes to the lyrics. If you want to find out whet they are screaming about, you need to grab a CD/LP booklet. Though I don't think you would understand the written lyrics neither...13 years назад

@KENNYKISS69 On the contrary, it is good. It may not be to your taste, but they 'scream in the mic' in the same mentality that John Tardy gurgles inaudibly into the mic. Regardless, it's not too hard to understand what they're saying. It helps when you can decipher strong English accents, like the one Barney Greenway of Napalm Death has.14 years назад
