Probably one of the most underrated and obscure rock bands in all of Washington, My Sister's Machine was formed in 1989 after frontman Nick Pollock left Alice in Chains (Which was then was a glam metal band known as Alice N' Chainz). Showcasing the heavy metal/sludge influences typical of most metal leaning Seattle bands My Sister's Machine mirrored Alice in Chains' sound despite their records coming out at roughly the same time, making a copycat argument impossible.

Line-up:

Nick Pollock - Vocals, Guitar

Owen Wright - Guitar

Chris Gohde - Drums

Chris Ivanovich - Bass

I'm currently obsessed with this song, and I don't think it's going to end. I came here after listening to I'm Sorry one time, and the rest is history.

In which planet this is NOT metal, this is one of the heaviest ballsiest openers of a record. I hear Ozzy, Savatage, Metallica in their sound

I remember this. I was only seven in 1993. Should have been a big single.

They sound similar to Nu-metal honestly. Pretty good though, should have been mainstream, but I still love all the "grunge labelled bands" although they are all very different. AIC Blues/Metal, Soundgarden's Hardrock/Metal, Nirvana's Punk/Metal/Hardrock, Pearl Jam's psychedelic-metal/hardrock. One thing in common each band labelled grunge had was an incorperation of metal elements.

I still have one of their t-shirts that I bought a concert back in the day. Say Fuck You and gives the finger on the back! Love it!!
