To all goofies who doubt live credentials of MBV, colm never played on this track and sone say he triggers the samples on the songs where a drum loop is involved (there are only 2 songs on loveless which were recordes by colm entirely, others are samples of his drumming made into loops by Kevin himself. So, whoever thinks it's ocerdubbing, that is untrue coz if u r really into recreating MBV sound than with the proper pedals u can efficiently do that.Kevin has stated many times that the album had very few guitar tracks, even less than what bands at that time used in their demos.Samples are a key factor to the sound n as Kevin stated they do the sampling via old analog methods and even with the risk of a meltdown,they still prefer it over digital methods and that only shows his dedication to good quality of sound both live n in studio.And that sampling makes ppl believe that tge album has many overdubs, n for the difference in sound of guitars, its just done with the same guitar track panned side by side just with a vox n a marshal mixed, nothing fancy.

I really like this. Loveless is great, most rock music hasn't caught up with ityet. Kevin Shields is teh Brancusi of Pop, to risk sounding pretentious ( go check out Brancusi).the Je ne Sais quoi of this sound.
