@Soraplushie first of all, setting a mood to any film or tv show is definitely art. End of fight club = the pixies = brilliant. v for vendetta = 1812 overture = brilliant. Yes it's nice when directors have their own music (like jj abrams even though he doesn't technically write the music he has his own guy to write the music for everything he does), but every show has a different atmosphere. And my last point, can you tell me what is wrong with giving bands exposure?

@saldivar182 HAHAHA! Wouldn't it be more of an artform if the people didn't just choose music to amplify the mood but actually made the music to the series. Anybody can just choose a track and then put it on a video timeline. Using other artists to amplify mood in a scene is not art. Its taking the easy way out.

@Porojukaha It had character development, billions of cultural allusions, clever dialog, great acting, great writing, and an awesome music score. The fact that they used artists such as the pixies, wolf parade, pete yorn, spoon, velvet underground, m ward, etc just shows great taste.

@Porojukaha Veronica Mars was absolutely not retarded. Regardless of whether you pay any attention to my argument... This show was extremely intelligent. It was so good that the network told them to dumb it down, and eventually it was canceled and replaced with a stupid reality tv show because most mainstream americans are too dumb to follow shows as clever and fast-paced as veronica mars.
