This is why Slipknot and Mushroomhead don't do shows together (which would be awesome) Because Mushroomhead fans for the most part, are too busy keeping hold against Slipknot, you know both band are fine with each other right? Both bands are great and I'm proud to own all albums by each band! Just let go of this silly fight against two bands and talking about how Slipknot is so 'mainstream', grow up! Slipknot was around before Roadrunner. Check out their first release, Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat with Anders Colsefni. When Roadrunner wanted Slipknot, they probably wanted a more mainstream friendly vocalist, so they got Corey Taylor from Stone Sour.

Yep. Mushroomhead was with roadrunner and before they recieved more album contracts they were asked to chg or conform a little. They refused. Roadrunner dropped them and found slipknot. Some say roadrunner brought slipknot together. Who knows. Who cares kinda. They're both good. Slipknot did succeed off of someone else's style though. Sorry
