Murcof's music is sparse, minimalist, sample-based electronica. A key element is the complex, and sometimes abstract, glitchy electronic percussion. Corona's recordings are more melodic and traditionally structured than many contemporary electronic musicians, and many recordings feature orchestral strings sampled from recordings of works by modern composers such as Arvo Pärt. Corona uses silence to fill his music with intense emotion. There is also an obvious influence from film music, as can be heard in the use of samples and the dramatic production style, and these elements are also evident in the soundtracks Corona has performed for films such as Fritz Lang's Metropolis.

Il filone è quello della musica glitch, un ramo della musica elettronica che si avvale dell’uso di campionatori. Elemento caratterizzante sono appunto i "glitch”, ossia errori prodotti dalle apparecchiature digitali. Non c’e una vera e propria linea melodica di base piuttosto degli inserti di archi orchestrali campionati da registrazioni di opere di compositori moderni come Arvo Pärt. Corona usa il silenzio a riempire la sua musica con intensa emozione. C'è anche un influsso evidente dalla musica da film, come si può sentire nell'uso di campioni, e questi elementi sono anche evidenti nelle colonne sonore di Corona scritte per film come Metropolis di Fritz Lang. 11 years назад
