Mr. Mister

There is something so unique about all of Mr. Mister's stuff that I just can't put my finger on. Whatever it is, I love it. It's a shame they had such a limited run. Given a label with the guts to stick with them through the grunge phase I think they could have continued to make waves in the industry. C'est la vie.

Mr. Mister were definitely a cut or two above your typical pop act. This song in particular might have even been a smash single if Pull had actually gotten released back in 89/90 like the band planned. Alas, we'll never know...

A crying shame it took almost 25 years for this be released, but thank goodness it's here! Mr Mister were a band which, once they really came into their own, their record company couldn't figure out how to pigeonhole them, and thus, had no more use for them.

Amazing that a record label can bail on a band that made them so much money at one point. This record sounds like Mr. Mister meets Pink Floyd or Alan Parsons. AOR stations should have bled this dry. Too bad grunge ruined music by this time. RCA was likely looking for some Stone Temple Pilot imitators. Who needs melody and drama when you can have poorly played two chord angst and frustration.
