I try so hard to get into this music but every song is repetitive and the loops are just repeating 4/4 measures then they would do that for about 8-16 bars then switch to something somewhat different but not much. There's no overlay of a pad or arpeggio of any kind so it's just the repeating loops, every song...now I like Boards of Canada and it's because they use nostalgic dark tones and their beats sound old school as hell and they always use pads to add that ambient mystery. BOC is repetitive but interesting. Mount Kimbie is just flat out repetitive and the samples used aren't that crazy either. I've even tried liking OneOhtrixpointNever and even that is just random wtf. Even Jlinn is repetitive as fuck and lacks a lot of bass tones so most if almost all songs sound incomplete and just glitchy hip hop beats. I don't get this sound at all...8 years назад
