I've been a fan of MCS since their first album, but I just can't really get a solid feel for the GO album and same for Panic Stations. I loved their first three albums, definitely thought they were getting stronger and stronger with each one, but GO seemed to be a complete turnaround for me. I had high hopes for Panic Stations after I enjoyed the Inside Out single they released a while back, but so far after a good few listens, I just feel the album can't even come close to the first 3. There's not one standout song I could pick out, and it all sounds kinda phoned-in, or just comfortable playing, like the effort has gone.Maybe I just don't like the way they've moved in the last two albums, but during their first three albums they were becoming more and more solid each time. I had them easily in my top 3 bands back then, but now I'd struggle to put this in my top 10 or even 20.I just really want to like MCS again, their songs meant so much to me during my late teens and early 20s.8 years назад
