new drummer=new band. Thaxton left the band during late spring last year and was replaced by Rivera. Each drummer has a different style, thus contributing a different sound to the band. Being an 8 year fan, drummer, and drum teacher by profession, this was pretty tough for me to digest. New stuff sounds great, just different of course. Have seen MCS live a handful of times with Thaxton prior to last spring. Yet to see the band play with Rivera...

It's darker, but it's also playful in a quirky powerpoppy way. I hope this is indicative of where they're going because Go sadly didn't do much for me.

Glossing over the word "punk-less" which I hope he never uses again, Nate K right. Not feeling the sincerity of what Justin's singing. I really wanted to feel the same chills I got when I first listened to My Favorite Accident and L.G.F.U.A.D (great songs from good albums by one of my favorite bands) BUT is anyone else feeling like they're forcing it a little bit with this one?
