The Moody Blues singing "Never Comes The Day" in 1970 in Paris. I think this song sounds live to me. But that's just me. About 3:20 in this song Justin sings "But she will love me tonight" That is another thing that makes me think it is live vocals to this song of Justin's...! Just my two cents. Peace. I still love this song anyway. Enjoy. MoodiesFan:-)

Love their songs especially on their first 5 or 6 albums! Yes the mellotron is superb also known to them as the Pindertron for Mike Pinder who I guess was the master at the instrument!

Along with Gabriel era Genesis, Moody Blues are definitely one of my favourite songwriters. Oh, yeah... And MELLOTRON! Such a great instrument! Peace

There's a lead guitar in the mix but no lead guitar player.

Nope, it's not live, or at least not fully live. Pinder is playing an organ in the video; the music (correctly) has him playing Mellotron. They do not look anything alike.

Thank you Jerry. Another great song is New Horizons, and the Moody's concert at the Royal Albert Hall is terrific. Peace.

Number one in my top ten of Moody Blues tracks. We (the British) had to endure some dross churned out as 'pop music' in the sixties, but there were the occasional stand out groups and the Moody's certainly stand out as a great british product

Why are they not in Rock Hall of Fame? I guess Joan Jett, Lou Reed and Bill Withers are more important.

These songs remind of a time so long ago and a young girl I dated. We went our separate ways and I met her again some years later with disastrous results. Still this song brings back memories of a relationship that wasn't to be and shouldn't have been.I wish her well just the same.

Justin Hayward's singing has touched my heart like no other. I have never had a crush on any movie star or musician, but I would leave my incredible husband for Justin. His words reach right into my soul. Ah if only one night.....sigh
