It's funny because if Bob Seger had died in an accident in, say, 1972, he'd be a 60's legend and his music from that era would be a lot more celebrated. It still is very powerful stuff and, man, what a singer!

Straight up no b.s. rock n' roll that pummels. His later songs are more catchy but they lack the straight up power of this era.

Bob Seger's early music is awesome. His more current, more popular music is very good, too, but I personally prefer his earlier music from the Bob Seger System.

This whole album is heavier than weapons-grade plutonium, and this song is so hard, it'll suck the paint off your house and leave you with a permanent orange afro. Mongrel is a bitch!
