Tony Levin / King Crimson + Gentle Giant.... Adrian Belew in the DNA. I'd like them to let the melody to be a little less constricted to arrangement... sing over the bar line a bit more. It'll make the structure accompany and push a bit better. Pete Gabriel is a master of that. More expression allowed. She'll have to fight for that a bit though. Solid tune but more vocal organics on the production side. Vocal freedom [unconstrained by the structure of the arrangement]. Just an idea. More phrasing allowed. She's wonderful though. Love where this band is going and is really. The vocal and words will reach the mind and heart of the listener better if this were taken into account a bit more. Very original.
