One of my favourite Chess singers, just after Etta James, together with Fontella Bass. As many singers she had a short but interesting production. When I discovered her, I've found the LP in a specialized shop, I liked the cover before the music. White dress, green background, I've found she was really strong... and I bought it... then I loved her voice and her music. Enjoy
