Mikkey has been out forever. He was Kanye's first artist before Kanye was even signed. If you listen to Last Call on College Dropout, when Kanye talks about his artist going straight to the company instead of through his production company.. he was talking about Mikkey. Mikkey signed to Cash Money, but Kanye went to Roc. That money that Kanye got to move to NYC was from Mikkey forcing Baby to use some of Kanye's beats instead of just Mannie Fresh's.
