I knew my father performed on American Bandstand, but did not know when. I tried so hard to find out. Thank you for posting. Do you know if it is possible to get a copy of it? Please send me an email. You have no idea what this would mean to me. My mom passed away Jan. 1, 2011 and I have very little of my father when he was performing. I was only 3 years old.

On this day in 1967 {January 14th} Mike Williams performed "Lonely Soldier" on the late Dick Clark's 'American Bandstand'... Six months earlier on July 9th, 1966 it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #69 and spent 5 weeks on the Top 100... R.I.P. Mr. Clark {1929 - 2012}...
