If you're inferring to Gliddee's comment that the Beatles "killed the good oldies" and it took people 42 years to find out, that's not true. The Beatles added to the good oldies and enhanced them, and people in droves are not discovering the opposite now.

Mike Preston left England for Australia and went on to become a star as an actor in a series called "Homicide" playing Detective Bob Delaney. He has worked consistantly in TV and movies over there but we in England were fortunate to catch a tiny segment of his talent as a singer with a beautiful melodic voice in the early sixties. Good on yer' Mike!
