This video is about the Midi Rotary Interface (Crumar). Unfortunately I forgot to bring my half moon switch for the Crumar Mojo, which would have been nicer and more clarifying to show. Maybe next time :)

Where can I find an assembled midi rotary interface box designed specifically for the Crumar Mojo and the Leslie 3300? Thanks, Paul

Hi! I have problems with the stop position on the half moon switch. When I test the signals on the Stereo Jack Out (that goes in the leslie 3300), the signals macht the manual on the rotary manual.Slow on HalfM is TRS ring, and TRS SleeveFast on HalfM is TRS tip, and TRS SleeveStop on halfM am I not sure what signals comes out... it says board pin 6 opens for stop. But when i have plugged the jack in the leslie, slow position on HalfM is slow on LeslieStop on HM is fast on leslieAnd fast for about 2 seconds is Stop on Leslie... ! Can u help a fellow comrade with some leslie 3300 Problems? I Use the Mojo just like u, and have just put the jumper on nr 1. :)Feedback is much appreciated !! cheers

Frank, Thanks for the info and replying so fast. I hope the "Solo" comes down a few hundred dollars in price. Also wish the Crumar came in a single manual version. I would love to have a 2 manual organ but just don't have the room. Keep putting out that great music, love listening. Leo

I adjusted it again by the way, guess you were right , or my taste changed over time :)

The biggest differences, to my opinion, between the 2 are in price and build quality, and maybe the button layout and style. Construction of the KeyB is more like an organ, so it all depends on your preferences I think. They're both fine organs, and for the pricing you get 2 manuals on the Mojo instead of 1 with the KeyB solo.

Hi Leo, thanks for the kind words. I didn't compare them standing next to each other, but I have had a chance to test the KeyB as well. As far as sound goes I don't think there's a very noticeable difference, although I do feel that the internal leslie sim of the KeyB is a little better (to my taste, especially on tremolo, on stop and chorale they're pretty much the same quality).

Frank, Really enjoy your playing, the drawbar registration you use, how you use the leslie, the whole sound. Have you had a chance to compare the Mojo with a KeyB? I'm looking into the KeyB Solo mklll, partly because there is a dealer in Nahville, not too far from florida where I live. Right now there is a dispute between DMI and the parent company in Italy, so they are not in production. Just wondering what your opinion is. Thanks, Leo

Thanks! I think the Nord is a pretty great instrument on its own, but if you're looking for the best hammond sound the Mojo is quite a lot better in my opinion. On the leslie they both sound good, but the mojo has a lot more depth, and does the trick better. I use the Nord for rehearsing and of course the Wurli, piano and Rhodes sounds are pretty good too, but for hammond, get the Mojo imho.

Very cool, man. Great playing. I own a mojo as well, how do you think the nord compares with the crumar as far as sound quality ?

Hi, I actually played in Brighton last year. I'm in the band of Laura Vane (& The Vipertones). The band is mainly from Holland but Laura is from and lives in Brighton. Coincidence huh ?:) I'll let you know!

Very nice indeed. I'm an organist too. You have a great sound. Let me know if you play Brighton.

Hah, thanks Mr RustOfunk :). If you're curious, check our the latest album of The Soul Snatchers (Scratch My Itch), there's quite a lot of my organ skills in there if you like 'm. Other than that my DelMontis album of course and Laura Vane & The Viptones. At the moment I have just one priority. FOCUS on organ. So as soon as there's an organ only album, I'll be posting it to my subscribers :). Nothing wrong with you probably, but of I don't know you yet.

Not bad but you need to have more flippity flop in your frizzle fry. Just kidding. That was some grade A 100% beef there. I worked up a sweat just listening to it. How come I don't have a ton of your recordings on my ipod! What's wrong with me?! ;)
