Michael does not look well physically here. Saw him last in 2009 played four solid hours at Chan's in Woonsocket, RI. One of the best i ever saw.

Love the original by Free and I love this live version by MB as well - wish the track was available as a good quality download to go on my ipod alongside the albums. His tone on this reminds me of Leslie West who I could imagine also covering this. MB is a great guitarist/Bluesman and a massive loss to the music.

....Майкл Беркс - здоровый парень из Милуоки, несомненный талант, скромный, потомственный блюзмен, блюз играли и папа и дедушка, папа даже аккомпанировал Сонни Бой Уильямсу Второму, вооружили сына и внука хорошим музыкальным инструментом под его рост и пальчики, тот начал тоже играть блюз на радость папе и дедушке. Однако как-то так получилось, что артист 1957 года рождения выпустил дебютный альбом на крупной фирме Аллигаторе Make It Rain только в 2001 году.Он получил прозвище Железный человек за накачанные мускулы, неустанное передвижение в автобусе на тысячи миль с гастрольными турами, хрипловатый голос. Следующий 2003 I Smell Smoke прибавил ему поклонников, а в 2008 году вышел по мнению многих его лучший альбом "Iron Man." Беркс получил три номинации Blues Music Award за эту его работу, в том числе Лучший современный блюзовый альбом года" и "<Блюз -Песня Года" за главный трек .А этот стало быть - лучше лучшего, замес блюза, соула и фанка
