It is a great disservice to the art form that Michael is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He wasn't the type of person to care about those things, But if for any other reason: so new generations might discover this brilliant artist more easily. He was truly and completely tapped into the pulse of American music in ways we can only observe.

He never got the credit that he deserved, but then I do not believe that he ever wanted it. During an era of huge egos amongst guitar players , he eschewed fame.
