Please add more groups below that I missed!! I grew up in the 1980's. (Yes, I'm old!). It’s sad, that corporation nerds determine who makes money for artist and genres. I just read a great article, that confirms this. Funny, I remember back in 1982, it was the same….Radio stations never played New Order, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, etc. that year, and before… One Exec, at major a major label changed that. Today, the're just not promoting Synthpop…sucks for these synthpop artists, with great music, that the younger kids would love over Skrillex, etc. Synthpop is like the old new wave genre, but more modern. Pet Shop Boys have consistently put out great CDs from 1985 to 2012 and have another one coming out in June of this year, not to mention all the artists they inspired over the years inlcuding The Killers and Lady Gage. Then, there the 2 two disc sets of B sides. Even their fillers could be A sides. And their live shows are excellent.
