They have this really catchy sound and style but then I listen to it closely and I realize it's just a couple of glib, upper middle white kids who haven't really had much adversity in their lives and consequently produce trivia music. I think the music is technically sound, and as I said, even catchy, but it isn't real. The sound has no soul.
