When they made that documentary where they’re all crying like a bunch of spoiled brats, Jason didn’t wanna have any part of that. He gets mad props from me. It takes a lot of balls to walk away from what’s basically the best gig on the planet because the band leaders are going against your principles.

Newsted is talented, but I saw a live clip abd Hetfield sang "Search and!" then put the mic to Newsted's mouth and all Jason did was grunt instead of singing 'seek and destroy,(of course James glared at him afterwards). I think that's no biggie but other things happened too and it just seems like Jason wasn't "the perfect fit" for Metallica in various ways.I blame the lack of chemistry between the guys and Jason
