As a life long fan of Metallica , I have this recording myself. Its James Hetfield on Vocals and it is kirk on guitar. Dave never had a solo for this song , it's all kirk. Dave wrote the rhythm guitar part . THIS IS FACT !!!!!

Goddamn. ok. idk what's the mix up. i mean come on lol. you can clearly tell James is singing. right? i hope you hear it right bc if not you should probably clean out your ears with a q tip... they're not too expensive go buy some. i mean it would be pretty cool if Dave was on lead in this song but ik he's not bc the solo is melodic. Dave's solos are more in your face and rip ass which is cool too. i mean the guy writes cool shit dont get me wrong but he's not very melodic. Idgaf about arguing who i think is a better musician or any bullshit like that im just kinda stating the obvious of this recording.
