I said it before and I'll say it again, the way James plays the riff is so amazing. Metallica is still the best compromise between heave fast music, awesome songwriting and talented musicians. Some may be even heavier and faster, some may have even more awesome songwriting, some may be even more technical and that makes them great bot nut the greatest. Metallica has the perfect mix and that makes them acceptable for a wider range of people and the greatest of all time. Period.
