For the guitar players:James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett use 11/48 strings. They both use EMG 81/60 Active Pickups. And if you're planning on getting a Wah pedal, get either the Dunlop KH95 Kirk Hammett Signature Wah (What he uses now) the VOX Wah (What he used before his signature wah from 2008 and earlier)
