Relevant even today! Not just Pak but the entire world with its corrupt, blood sucking bank system and GMO food. Junoon was way ahead of their time and really time-less. "Karoun kyoun ghulami teri, ghulami teri kyoun zalmaa. Maangoun na khudai teri, ho maangoun main to haq zaalimaa". Epic lyrics that can apply to anything from overprotective Southasian parents who see their kids as a property whose life they can own and call "ache farmaan-bad-daar bache" or the corrupt society in its entirety. Every Pakistani kid with a great taste in music was listening to this and getting a voice for their suppressed inner voice. I mean, we live lives in which you might be an angel of a kid but grow out your hair as a boy and your parents think you're "ghalat raaston pe". Oh the drama! ;) Lucky for me, I saw through the system. As have many others but we're still a minority and don't find each other. But be assured Junoonis...you're not alone. Apne andar ka junoon zindah rakho! :)
