Not only do the words to this song touch me DEEPLY- so did this video. The fact that someone chose paper that was stained, not crisp white, was a word picture = sermon= in itself. Because I don't ever want to present my own life as if I NOW have it all together and it's perfect. It's tempting to want to give a testimony of how the Lord is working in my life, and gloss over my continual flubs in the process. Dear younger me,I wish I would have confessed that I believe that God really is my Lord and Saviour alot sooner than I did. I wish I would have surrendered my life to him and not shyed away and cared what other people around me would think about what I believe in. God really is good, and without him I wouldn't be here, I would have never met my beautiful wife, and thanks to him I now have two step kids and God blessed me with my son who is absolutely the greatest gift I've ever been given. Without God's love, I'd be nothing. I am thankful that he sent his son to die for my sins, and I admit that I constantly struggle every single day, but I hope God has it in his heart to forgive me.
