"Love Can Make You Happy" released in April 1969, reached over one million sales on July 15 of that year and was awarded a gold record by the R.I.A.A., Written by band member and singer Jack Sigler, Jr., the clip here is from the film, Fireball Jungle.
Though another "1 hit wonder" group, the song is so memorable for its terrific melody, harmonies and fine lyrics. It truly stands out as one of the real 'greats' of the late sixties.The group is originally from Florida.

This song went through my head yesterday,I was only 8 when it came out but it made me looking forward to falling in love. In spite of being hurt by love and and hurting a few myself, I'll never hurt anyone again. Karma is Soooo Real. There's nothing better than love and I'm looking forward to finding it again. You got to give this group "Mercy" credit. They didn't have to bang their guitars against a stage or set all their musical instruments on fire like other rock-and-roll groups of the 1960s did to get the flower generation to like their music.
