Their first single back in 1994 was called Sweet Dreams. But not even in their own sweetest dreams could La Bouche's Melanie Thornton and Lane McCray have known what an avalanche of success the would release.Their debut single, which went Gold was topped by their second single release Be my Lover, reached No 1 on the German music charts and entered the Top 10 in 14 other countries. Their first album also entitled Sweet Dreams, went five times Platinum as well as nine times Gold, around the world. ''his series of Gold and Platinum awards for their debut made La Bouche one of the few German acts to achieve worldwide acclaim.
