Dave Brockie shall remain always alive within my heart until the day I die.. I have adored him since I was a child (10 or 11), and will continue to adore him, and remain eternally in awe of his genius.. Dave Brockie was one of the most creative/artistic geniuses of my lifetime, and I only hope that generations upon generations continue to discover and enjoy his work. He was one of a kind; And while I am saddened, and somewhat (entirely) offended by the way in which Oderus was outright KILLED off in the GWAR mythology, I will never stop loving the band.. Though I doubt I will ever go to another show or buy another album/piece of merchandise, ever, EVER, ever again.. It was a betrayal to the man who penned the story, and to kill him off, instead of merely returning him, to live forever on Scumdogia; Because after surviving 50 billion years, his creator's simple heroin overdose should not have killed him.. Oderus should live on, perhaps in comics, definitely not onstage (only Brockie could do that), but to kill him off was final, and sickening. I am angry that that is the resolution of his character's story, it's anticlimactic and disappointing, not to mention unnecessary.I will always love Dave Brockie, and Oderus Urungus, may they both find peace on the otherside.. Good night, sweet prince.

Holy shit, I did not know the man was dead! I didn't even know who he was until just now and when I saw the comments saying "R.I.P", I just had to look him up. Turns out he died in March and this was uploaded in February, so he died a month later after this :( Well he looked like an awesome person (even though he was in costume). May Brockie rest in peace.

One of the best concerts I ever went to was Gwar and ICP on Halloween '98 in Detroit, their annual Hallowicked show. Awesome show, and definitely one of the messiest shows I've been to also.. :)
