I saw Meat Puppets at The Marquee in London when I was down there on a bootlegging expedition and ended up backstage with them, I think it was about 1986 but I'll need to dig the tape out to be sure. I might upload it if there's enough interest.

Strangely enough my wife pointed out to me that the intro is from the childrens' song "Pearly Shells" sung by kids from Hawaii to the Philippines. As for Kurt's height, Conan is like 6'5" and doesn't seem too much taller than him. Paul Leary was the guitarist for Butthole Surfers.
