i been thinking about this and realized the reason I got into hip-hop was BDP, KRS-1, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, Immortal Technique and others. They all have great music behind them not just computer generated beats. Also Rage Against the Machine, although I'm aware of their rock roots, Zacks a pretty good lyricist. More of these unique interpretations of Hip-Hop is needed and necessary for it to stay fresh .
