MC Chris is imagery driven in his lyrics and that's what I like in my music I can imagine what's goin deep and emotional way but funny at the same time I like both versions of the song but I like this one better

It does destroy it but in my opinion this beat wouldnt of worked on the goes to hell version so i can understand why he used a new more upbeat beat lol..........but yh this song is a favourite of mine too :)

I think the remix destroys the meaning behind the song. its like the woes of the nerdy teen attempted love affairs. the goes to hell version/beat does not embody the lyrics at all. fun song to drive to, but destroys in my mind what is probably my favourite mc chris song

I'm really glad mc Chris exists. There's very few examples of music that perfectly captures the small-town, sub-urban teenage life. But mc does that, with a hint of the geekier side of life lots of people have had and don't really talk about. So thanks for reminding all of us about our small hometowns.
