Any cover of a Springsteen song is better than the original folks, cause Bruce is not a singer! This guy is ... he sounds like Dwight Yokum, Buck Owens and the How Do You Like Me Now... Toby Keith all at the same time. A big plus for this guy is he can play and sing at the same time and has a killer Duane Eddie sound from the drummer, bass and his own guitar. So , If Bruce is the Boss,, Raul is Bruce's supervisor. Go Mav's !

Personally, I didn't know this was a Springsten song. I heard it first by the Mavericks, and it hit me deep. It's the only version I even care to hear, not the least bit interested in the The Boss Egomaniac version. However, for anyone questioning the validity...Take a listen to Dolly Pardon's version of Stairway to Heaven. It's certainly not Zeppelin, but it's just as amazing in it's own way. "And it makes me wonder."
