I got introduced to the music by a dude from Canada. Grew on me from the first track. "boy and his machine gun" is a brilliant track which addresses the issue of insanity and how many crazy people there are out there who just look sane. "did they stick you in here because you weren't working right?"

@bothan101 I'm an American and I can assure you that not all Americans are morons (Though I understand where you're coming from.) Matthew Good is the man, and this is one of my favorite tracks by him. Some songs off this album are kind of strange, but this song in particular is one of those songs you just fall in love with right away. Another tallented musican, if you guys haven't heard of him yet, is Dan Mangan. If Good and Mangan ever played a show together, I'd explode :)

I think that it is unfortunate Good is not as popular as he should be, I guess its moronic Americans going for crap like Nickel Back. Somebody who claims he had known Good for 20 years even though Good has been around for 15 years takes such offense if you say the slightest bit of negative criticism Good is an excellent not to mention my favorite musician however I think we would all have to agree as Good Fans that he has written few bad albums A of B, Hospital Music and White Light R n R Review
