Man, I have so much love, admiration and respect for Mat The Alien. He is the elder statesman of the BC bass scene. Nothing but class.

That was the my favourite show that ive seen. so dirty. In all honesty i saw alot of good music at Sham but after that set the rest of the week couldnt par up haha.

i can. i think both music is good. i think BOTH: your ambient, melodic, broken-beat exploration OR the heavy-as-all-hell Mat-the-Alien, wall-shaking dive through subsonic frequencies, are: ENJOYABLE. because, when heard live, they sound cool. that to me sums up what constitutes a person thinking music is 'good': it sounds cool to them, good to them, whatever. it gets to them. i don't think it was at all necessary to attack your musicianship... perhaps, i'd suggest you come to Shambs :)

beautifully said, man. i've tried to explain that those speakers are the listener's end of sound... they envelope every fibre of your being in bass. i too was at this set and i too really fucking enjoyed. my personal favorites thursday were the Hot Tub Delorean - Killabits back to back... but having never seen a Mat the Alien show, i thought this was super tastey

in all truth have you ever been to a show like this? theres no way you can judge how you feel about the music until you feel it in person seriously, its intoxicating. I was at this set and it was fucking Huge. this set was intense and the vibe were unreal. so fucking grimey. really good. it felt like an underground bass riot
