What's wrong with that? Dubstep is really the metal of electronic music which is a great genre. They can do things that no other instrument based genre can do. I love this music, Mastondon is some of my favorite metal. This song wouldn't make good dubstep, this kind of pure energy and pulse and weight is not reachable in any electronic song with this. Dubstep is capable of some seriously bone chilling drops.

Well that's fine, you're entitled to liking and disliking what you want. Remixing any genre outside of EDM or Pop/Rap usually ends in failure, anyways, as other genres just don't mix well. Also, any attempts I have seen at making "metalstep" have all been completely awful. Some genres just aren't compatible. Jazz and metal, however, surprisingly can mix. Listen to Skylines by Painted in Exile, it is actually quite interesting (disregard the 50 or so seconds of rap at the start).

I don't even really like Skrillex (Who makes mostly Electro-House, btw). I just hate close-minded retards who can't seem to grasp that, just because they don't like something, that "something" isn't actually bad. But you did just succeed in proving that with your level of intelligence, you are incapable of coming up with any kind of decent argument when called out on being a complete tool. What an ignorant, close-minded piece of garbage. You have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, you've clearly never seen what goes into making a single EDM track. It took me a lot longer to learn how to make a basic track in a DAW than it ever did to learn ANY Metallica, Amon Amarth, Gojira or Pink Floyd song on guitar. So don't fucking talk about talent. You give metal a bad name. Please, for the sake of all intelligent, open-minded metalheads out there, never open your mouth again.
