Buddy Holly released this song in 1959. Since then, others have recorded the song, including The Beatles. Marshall Crenshaw played Buddy Holly in the movie LaBamba and he performed the song, which appears on the movie soundtrack. This is my favorite version of the song and I love the solo (1:06) Marshall Crenshaw did.
